I saw an important indie film tonight. The Ledge directed by Matthew Chapman, starring Charlie Hunnam, and the beautiful, willowy Liv Tyler.
Hunnam plays a rationalist hero in this thriller with a wild twist at the end. Terrance Howard plays a police detective who has an epiphany of his own, and Patrick Wilson plays the slimy, smarmy, self-righteous jerk. Liv Tyler plays…well, she can play anything she wants in my book.
This film is about faith and finding love. It isn’t showing around here – by that I mean between the Red River and Buda, Texas. We watched it on the IFC OnDemand channel on Time Warner. The channel has a special feature “In the Theater.” It cost 6 bucks, but it was way more than worth it. Check it out! 10 stars out of 5
